Creating NFS Shares
To use NFS shares to make PUM Linux directories on the container available to the Linux host, you must manually create an NFS directory. You can then map a drive from Windows to the Linux host.
- Manually create an NFS share directory, /path/to/nfs_share, on the Linux host computer and ensure the directory has read-write permission.
See Create an NFS server on Oracle Linux, https://docs.oracle.com/en/learn/create_nfs_linux/#introduction.
- Install the container.
The container run process will copy the following directories from the PeopleTools mid-tier container to /path/to/nfs_share on the Linux host computer.

- If necessary, map a drive from a Microsoft Windows computer to access the shared directories.
