Prerequisites for PeopleSoft Container Images

Before beginning the installation, you must fulfill the following requirements:

• Access to My Oracle Support to download the container images.
• Oracle Linux Server 9.x

  The Oracle Linux VM is the host for the container, and must be configured to use Podman as described in this documentation.

• Podman version 5.x.x

  Each user that builds and runs containers and the prebuilt container images must be able to run Podman and podman-compose.

• Podman-compose version 1.0.6
• A non-root user with sudo root permission

  To configure the Linux host computer and run the container images, the user must be able to use the sudo command.

• The minimum disk space requirement for a PeopleTools mid-tier installation is 128 GB.
