Understanding the PeopleTools-Only Upgrade Using the PeopleSoft PeopleTools DPKs

Use these steps to perform a PeopleTools-only upgrade to PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.63.xx, using the PeopleSoft PeopleTools Deployment Packages (DPKs). The PeopleTools Client DPK is used first to deploy the PeopleTools Client, which includes the installation of Change Assistant. Subsequently, the PeopleTools DPKs are used to install mid-tier components and the PS_HOME for the new release.
