Using PeopleTools Middleware DPKs

The PeopleTools Middleware DPKs (PT-MW-DPKs) contain supporting (third-party) software that is required for a PeopleSoft installation. The PT-MW-DPKs are delivered as needed to provide security updates for one or more of the components.

The PT-MW-DPKs include the following:

• Oracle Tuxedo

• Oracle WebLogic

• Oracle Database Client

• Java JDK

You can also use the PT-MW-DPKs to update the JDK and Oracle Database Client for existing PeopleTools Client installations, and to update JDK for OpenSearch installations.

Note:

The PeopleTools Middleware DPKs were called Infrastructure DPKs (PT-INFRA DPKs) in previous releases. Another change in this release is that the PeopleTools Middleware DPKs cannot be used for new installations. They can only be used to apply CPUs on existing PeopleSoft environments.
