Applying CPUs with PT-MW-DPK on an Existing PeopleSoft Environment

After you use the PeopleTools Middleware DPK Builder to create PT-MW-DPK, use the DPK setup script to apply the selected CPUs to an existing PeopleSoft environment.

Note:

Running the psft-dpk-setup.bat script on Microsoft Windows is supported only with a command prompt.

1. Copy the generated DPK, PT-MW-DPK, into the same folder with the DPKs used for PeopleTools installation (for example: <dpk_install_existing>).
2. Go to <dpk_install_existing>/setup and run the command.

   Microsoft Windows:

   psft-dpk-setup.bat --apply_mw_cpu --psft_base_dir <psft_base_dir>
   

   Linux:

   ./psft-dpk-setup.sh --apply_mw_cpu --psft_base_dir <psft_base_dir>

3. Check the DPK setup log and also the environment to validate that the latest CPUs are applied.
