Creating the Merge Project

PeopleSoft Change Assistant will display this step if you are upgrading from PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.58 or later.

In this step, the empty PTMERGE project is created for use in merging all the new and modified PeopleTools records together into a single project. If it already exists, the PTMERGE project will be re-created as an empty project.
