Merging the PeopleTools Patch Project

PeopleSoft Change Assistant will display this step if your current PeopleTools release is greater than or equal to PeopleTools 8.58.

In this step, the PTMERGE project definition is merged with the PATCH86X project definition for the new release so that the PTMERGE project definition is updated with any new records delivered in the PeopleTools Patch.

Note:

This step will be skipped if the patch project does not exist.
