Understanding Creating Views

This task runs steps to re-create the views that were impacted by PeopleTools records delivered in the upgrade.

Note:

Starting with PeopleTools 8.63, this task has been streamlined to remove any steps involved in checking or re-creating invalid views on the Oracle database platform. On the Oracle platform, views move to an invalid state when the underlying PeopleTools tables or views are modified or re-created during an upgrade. However, invalid views are automatically recompiled the next time they are accessed. Additionally, this step will create any indexes defined on Materialized views.
