Creating a PeopleSoft Process Scheduler Configuration File Through PSADMIN

Although you typically edit the PSPRCS.CFG file through PSADMIN, you can find the PSPRCS.CFG file in the following directory:

  • Windows: PS_CFG_HOME\APPSERV\PRCS\domain_name

  • UNIX: PS_CFG_HOME/appserv/prcs/domain_name

To create a PeopleSoft Process Scheduler configuration:

  1. Select Start, Command Prompt.

  2. Change the directory to <PS_HOME>\appserv\.

  3. Enter psadmin.

  4. Press ENTER.

    The PeopleSoft Server Administration menu appears.

  5. Select option 2 (Process Scheduler).

  6. Press ENTER.

    The PeopleSoft Process Scheduler Administration menu appears.

  7. Select option 2 (Create a Domain) from the Process Scheduler Administration menu.

  8. Enter the name of the desired database.

  9. Press ENTER.

    The Quick-configure menu appears.

Note:

To edit a PeopleSoft Process Scheduler configuration file, follow the previously listed steps 1 through 6, then select option 1 (Administer a domain). Select the number corresponding to the domain you want to edit, then select option 4 (Configure this domain).
