Masking of Data in Search Results for Global Search

PeopleSoft provides the ability to mask personally identifiable information (PII) or sensitive data for a restricted user in keyword search for global search.

Note the following when you mask sensitive data for restricted users:

• When a user enters keywords to search for data, and if the keywords are marked as PII or sensitive data, then search results will not be displayed.

• If a facet contains sensitive data, the facet is hidden for the restricted user.
