Using Oracle Real Application Clusters with Siebel Remote

You can obtain high-availability for Oracle database servers by configuring them in an Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC).

Platform, database, and other certifications for Siebel are found on My Oracle Support. For help searching for certifications, see How to Check the Certification Matrix in the New My Oracle Support Site (KB871388).

This table shows the Oracle 9i, 10g, and 11g RAC certification releases:

Note: Siebel Remote doesn't support the usage of Active Oracle Real Application Clusters (Oracle RAC) because Oracle RAC requires the sequence cache to be disabled. Disabling the sequence cache causes Oracle RAC to not scale properly.
