Naming Conventions Used in This Guide

This guide follows several naming conventions:

  • All supported Siebel CRM releases refer to the upgrade path from which you might upgrade to a certain Siebel Business Applications release.
  • For more information about your upgrade applicability and for system requirements and supported platform certifications, see the Certifications tab on My Oracle Support.
  • Current release means the latest version of Siebel Business Applications.
  • The term Windows refers to all Microsoft Windows operating systems supported for this release.
  • The term UNIX refers to all forms of the UNIX operating system listed as supported for this release.
  • The term IBM z/OS refers to the IBM mainframe operating systems that are collectively referred to as z/OS.
