Process of Setting Up Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)

To set up and configure Retrieval Augmented Generation, perform the following tasks.

1. Enable the RAG system preferences.

2. Configure the knowledge base type for the deployment.

3. Configure OCI authentication, Generative AI, or OpenSearch as required.

4. Configure prompts and prompt augmentation templates.

5. Configure or verify the RAG-specific Siebel repository and manifest records.

6. Index or ingest the required data sources.

7. Validate the runtime flow from the Siebel UI or through a business service/API call.
