To remove existing Email Marketing daemons on a Windows server, perform the steps in the following procedure.

1. From the Start menu, choose Settings, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, and then Services.

2. Stop the services for Email Marketing daemons.

   1. Right-click the Email Sending Demon service and select Stop.

   2. Right-click the Bounce Handler Demon service and select Stop.

   3. Right-click the Click Through Demon service and select Stop.

3. Locate the directory where the Email Marketing Server components were installed and remove all the files and directories of each components.

   Note: After the uninstall, some files that could cause problems for the new installation might remain. Deleting files in these directories makes sure that the new installation does not inherit outdated information.
