How Siebel CRM Handles Certain Date Formats

If you set DDD, DD/MM/YYYY as the display format on a date list column, then Siebel CRM displays the date with the expected format but you cannot update the date. If you attempt to update the date, then it displays an error that is similar to the following:

Can't convert formatted string to its internal representation. 
Please check if your data is in correct format.

The same situation occurs if you use the DDD/MM/YYYY format.

Note: The Display Format property controls how Siebel CRM displays date values; it does not define every supported input format for updating date values. When users update a date field, they must enter a value in the expected locale or date input format. If users enter a date by using an unsupported display format, then Siebel CRM might store an incorrect date or display a conversion error.
