About Siebel CRM Upgrade Factory

Siebel CRM Upgrade Factory provides an automated development upgrade process and helps you set up a development environment quickly. You can use this approach to simplify the Siebel CRM application upgrade process.

With Siebel CRM Upgrade Factory, you can upload your customized, pre-IP2017 repository and run the upgrade and IRM process on OCI. The development upgrade process creates a merged design repository. You can continue to use this repository as your new Siebel CRM development environment in your OCI tenancy, or export and import it to your on-premises environment for continued development.

You can use Siebel CRM Upgrade Factory to:

  • Perform Siebel CRM upgrades in a cost-efficient, low-risk manner within a shorter time frame.
  • Dramatically reduce lengthy provisioning cycles.
  • Easily repeat development upgrades multiple times using the DevOps pipeline.
  • Flexibly move your application with business customizations intact to OCI, if needed by the business.
  • Monitor and evaluate upgrade issues rapidly.
