Post Installation Database Update Report

A report called PostInstallDBSetup_<Timestamp>.html is automatically generated after you run the PostInstallDBSetup utility. This report is in HTML format, is located in siebsrvr\log\PostInstallDBSetup_<Timestamp>.html, and provides information about the update including the following:

• The objects that are delivered out-of-the-box.
• The seed, schema, and manifest data that was imported as part of the database update process for a monthly update.
• The execution status of the applicable checkpoints and substeps.
• The area or step where the PostInstallDBSetup utility fails.
• For resumed executions, information identifying the logical execution and the applicable execution attempt.
• For resumed executions, the operations completed during an earlier attempt, operations bypassed because they were previously completed, operations executed during the current attempt, and operations that failed or were blocked.

Review the Post Installation Database Update Report

1. Go to the following location on your local drive: siebsrvr\log\PostInstallDBSetup_xxxxxxxxx

2. Select PostInstallDBSetup_<Timestamp>.html to open the report you want to view, where <Timestamp> represents the date and time that the report was generated.

3. In the Post Installation Database Setup Report console that opens:

   1. Click Upgrade Summary to review summary information about all the steps that were run as part of the Post Installation Database Update process.

   2. Click Schema to review the tables and columns updated out-of-the-box.
   3. Click Manifest to review applicable user key information for the S_UI* tables.
   4. Click Seed to review the tables for which seed data was released.
   5. Click Troubleshoot to review and troubleshoot errors that occur during Post Installation Database Update.

For a resumed execution, use the execution mode and attempt information, together with checkpoint and substep status, to distinguish the processing performed during the original execution from the processing performed during the resumed execution.

The current report navigation and categories are retained; the change is the addition of resume context and status information.
