Configure Single Sign-On for Siebel Mobile

Siebel Mobile supports Single Sign-On (SSO) for connected applications.

Note: SSO doesn't apply to Siebel Mobile disconnected applications because Siebel Mobile is used locally on the mobile device without connectivity. Siebel Mobile disconnected applications use the SQLite database to store data, metadata, and all the resource files to run the application.

Set Up SSO for Siebel Mobile

This task only applies only if you're using Siebel Innovation Pack 2017 or later:

1. Sign in to the Siebel Management Console.

2. Select Profiles in the navigation menu in the side pane, and then select Application Interface.

   Existing Application Interface Profiles are listed, if any.

3. Select the application interface profile you want to modify and then:

   1. Select Applications.

   2. Select the mobile application you want to configure for SSO (for example: epharmam, salesm, or servicem).

      When you select an application, the following options appear for the application: Basic Information, Mobile, Enhanced Authentication.

   3. Select the Enhanced Authentication option and then select the Configure Web Single Sign-On (Web SSO) checkbox.

   4. For Trust Token, specify the password to be used with SSO authentication.

   5. For User Specification, specify the user specification to use for SSO authentication.

      Repeat these steps for each mobile application you want to configure for SSO.

4. Select Submit to save your changes to the application interface profile.
