Default HTTPS Configuration for Email Sending Daemon, Click Through Daemon and Web Survey Daemon

If you do not select the configuration option during installation, you must manually replace the following template variables with the appropriate values in the files listed in the table under Configuration Fields in Install EMS Components Using the MDE Installer.

Configuration Fields: $HTTP_CONNECTOR_PORT, $HTTPS_REDIRECT_PORT, $SHUTDOWN_PORT, $KEYSTORE_FILE_VALUE, $KEYSTORE_PASSWORD, $TRUSTSTORE_FILE_VALUE, and $TRUSTSTORE_PASSWORD.

For WSD, they must also update $HTTP_CONNECTOR_PORT and $HTTPS_REDIRECT_PORT in axis2.xml.

Updated Configuration Files

  • For ESD, CTD, and WSD, the installer updates conf/server.xml with the supplied port and certificate-store values.
  • For WSD only, the installer also updates webapps/websurveys/WEB-INF/conf/axis2.xml with the supplied HTTP and HTTPS transport receiver ports.
