About API based Integration

The API-based integration provides the option to call different Generative AI endpoints The APIs can be invoked using external clients like Postman or from any Siebel interface layer (For Example: Siebel UI).

For models or LLMs hosted in OCI, use the SiebelOCIAIWebService business service. For LLMs hosted by providers other than OCI, such as Google or Mistral, use the SiebelGenericAIWebService business service.

The API request includes “provider” and “model” as parameters. In addition to this, other configuration parameters that are required vary depending on the model provider and the chosen LLM.
