Securing Siebel Management Console Deployments

It is recommended that you host SMC as a private, privileged administration endpoint on an Application Interface node in an internal administration tier.

For on-premises and cloud deployments, allow only authorized administrators to access SMC through an internal reverse proxy.

You must expose Application Interface nodes that participate in business transaction flows through public entry points only when appropriate network policies and security safeguards are in place.
