6.3 Monitor YARN Queues in Clusters

To monitor YARN queues:

1. Click Monitoring in the Oracle Big Data Manager console menu bar.
   At the bottom of the Monitoring page, the YARN queue for root is displayed.
2. In the Yarn Queues section, drill down on the root queue.
3. Then, drill down on root.users to display YARN queues for all root users.
   The following YARN queue information is provided for each user:

   • Minimum and maximum resources for CPU and memory
   • Used resources for CPU and memory
   • Cluster resources for CPU and memory
   • The number of containers that are pending, allocated, and reserved
4. Optionally, enable the Receive notifications option to receive background notifications for finished jobs and cluster monitoring.
