1.3 Storage Providers Supported by Oracle Big Data Manager

You can use Oracle Big Data Manager to connect to and interconnect a range of Oracle and non-Oracle data storage providers.

The following storage providers are supported by Oracle Big Data Manager. Note that the Hive and HDFS storage providers are registered for you by default when a cluster is created.

  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Object Storage

  • Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3)

  • Apache Hive

  • Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS)

  • GitHub

  • Oracle Database

  • Oracle MySQL

Storage providers must be registered with a cluster before they can be accessed through Oracle Big Data Manager.
