2.5 View Oracle Big Data Manager Settings

Oracle Big Data Manager is installed and configured by default when you create a cluster. Users with administrator privileges can manage some configuration settings if necessary (such as for troubleshooting and so on), but in general the settings should be left at the defaults.

To view and manage configuration settings:

1. Sign in to the Oracle Big Data Manager console as the bigdatamgr user, or as another user with administrator privileges.
2. Click the Administration tab at the top of the page, and then click the Settings tab on the left side of the page to show configuration settings.
3. Manage settings as desired. You can:
   • Use the text box to filter settings
   • Double-click values to edit settings
   • Click the Restore icon to restore the default value of a single setting
   • Click the Restore all button to restore the default values of all settings
