Scale an Application VM

This topic provides the details and procedure to scale an Application VM.

Before you begin, review the following:

• Changing the memory configuration will restart the Application VM.

Procedure

Perform the following steps in the Console.

1. On the Data Infrastructures list page, select the Data Infrastructure that you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page or the Data Infrastructure, see List Data Infrastructures.

2. On the Data Infrastructure details page, select the Application VMs tab to view the list of all Application VMs.

3. On the Application VMs tab, select the Application VM that you want to work with.

4. On the Application VM details page, select Scale.

5. In the Scale Application VM panel, provide the following details.

   • OCPUs: Select the total OCPUs.

   • Total memory for the VM: Specify a total memory for the Application VM.

6. Select Scale.
