Create a Backup Destination

On the Backup Destination list page, select Create Backup Destination, and provide the following details.

hostis the SCAN host name of the Recovery Appliance.host:port/service_name -
Virtual Private Catalog (VPC) users: Specify one or more VPC user names used to connect to the Recovery Appliance. You can specify multiple VPC user names if you plan to use the Recovery Appliance as the backup destination for multiple databases. This information is typically provided by the Recovery Appliance administrator.

If you select Network Storage (NFS), specify the following information:
- Local NFS mount point path: Specify the local directory path on each VM Cluster node where the NFS server location is mounted. The local mount point and the NFS server location must be identical on all VM Cluster nodes.
