Delete a Backup Destination

This topic provides the details and procedure to delete a Backup Destination.

Before you begin, review the following:

• Before deleting a Backup Destination, ensure that it is not associated with any databases.

• Deleting a Backup Destination removes the Backup Destination resource permanently. Existing backups stored in the Backup Destination are not deleted.

Procedure

Perform the following steps in the Console.

1. On the Backup Destination list page, select the Backup Destination that you want to work with.

2. On the Backup Destination details page, from the Actions menu, select Delete.

3. In the Delete Backup Destination panel, enter the name of the Backup Destination and select Delete to confirm.
