Move a Backup Destination to Another Compartment

This topic provides the details and procedure to move a Backup Destination to a different compartment.

Before you begin, review the following:

• Moving a Backup Destination changes only the compartment of the Backup Destination resource. Associated resources, such as databases, remain in their current compartments.

Procedure

Perform the following steps in the Console.

1. On the Backup Destination list page, select the Backup Destination that you want to work with.

2. On the Backup Destination details page, from the Actions menu, select Move resource.

3. In the Move resource panel, select a new destination compartment from the dropdown and select Move resource.
