View Details of a Database
This topic provides the details and procedure to view details of a database.
Procedure
Perform the following steps in the Console.

On the Data Infrastructures list page, select the Data Infrastructure that you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page or the Data Infrastructure, see List Data Infrastructures.
- On the Data Infrastructure details page, select the VM Cluster tab to view the list of all VM Clusters.
- On the VM Clusters tab, select the VM Cluster that you want to work with.

On the VM Cluster details page, select the Databases tab to view the list of all databases.

On the Databases tab, select the Database that you want to work with.

On the Database details page, select Database information tab to view details.

Review the following details:

General information: Displays basic information about the database, including the compartment, database name, OCID, creation time, database unique name, Oracle SID prefix, character set, and national character set.

Database version: Displays the Oracle Grid Infrastructure version, Database Home, database version, and last updated time.

Backup: Displays the backup destination type, automatic backup status, and backup retention period.

Disaster recovery: Displays the Data Guard status and Full Stack DR configuration status. You can enable Data Guard for disaster recovery and high availability.

Encryption: Displays the master encryption key location. You can migrate the key if you need to use a different key management configuration.

Associated Services: Displays the status of associated services, such as Ops Insights.
