View Data Guard Details

This topic provides the details and procedure to view the details of Oracle Data Guard.

Procedure

Perform the following steps in the Console.

  1. On the Data Infrastructures list page, select the Data Infrastructure that you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page or the Data Infrastructure, see List Data Infrastructures.

  2. On the Data Infrastructure details page, select the VM Cluster tab to view the list of all VM Clusters.
  3. On the VM Clusters tab, select the VM Cluster that you want to work with.

  4. On the VM Cluster details page, select the Databases tab to view the list of all databases.

  5. On the Databases tab, select the Database that you want to work with.

  6. On the Database details page, select Data Guard Group.

  7. Review the following details:

    • Search and Filter: Use search or filters to find specific Data Guard group members.

    • Add Standby: Adds a standby database to the Data Guard group. The add standby operation also runs a precheck.

    • Member: Displays the databases in the Data Guard group and their role, VM Cluster, region, readiness status, replication details, lag information, and Data Guard type.

      • VM Cluster: Displays the VM Cluster that contains the Data Guard group member.

      • Role: Displays the role of the member in the Data Guard group, such as primary or standby.

      • Region: Displays the region where the member is located.

      • Switchover ready: Indicates whether the database is ready for a switchover operation.

      • Failover ready: Indicates whether the database is ready for a failover operation.

      • Transport type: Displays the redo transport type used for Data Guard replication.

      • Apply lag: Displays the delay between when redo data is received and when it is applied to the standby database.

      • Transport lag: Displays the delay in transporting redo data from the primary database to the standby database.

      • Lag as of: Displays the time when the lag values were last calculated.

      • Data Guard type: Displays the Data Guard configuration type.
