Move a Data Infrastructure to Another Compartment

This topic provides the details and procedure to move the Data Infrastructure to a different compartment.

Before you begin, review the following:

• To move resources between compartments, you must have sufficient access permissions on the current compartment as well as the compartment that the resource is being moved to.

Procedure

Perform the following steps in the Console.

1. On the Data Infrastructures list page, select the Data Infrastructure that you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page or the Data Infrastructure, see List Data Infrastructures.

2. On the Data Infrastructure details page, from the Actions menu, select Move resource.

3. In the Move resource to a different compartment panel, select a new compartment from the list.

4. Select Move resource.

   From the dropdown menu, select a new compartment that is different from the current compartment.
