Configure Storage for a Data Infrastructure

This topic provides the details and procedure to configure storage for a Data Infrastructure.

Procedure

Perform the following steps in the Console.

1. On the Data Infrastructures list page, select the Data Infrastructure that you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page or the Data Infrastructure, see List Data Infrastructures.

2. On the Data Infrastructure details page, from the Actions menu, select Configure storage.

3. In the Storage configuration panel, provide the following details to select from available storage:

   • Data Storage: Displays the amount of Block Storage in percentage allocated to the Data Infrastructure.

   • Recovery Area Storage: Displays the percentage of storage available for recovery log data (RECO storage).

   • VM Storage: Select the amount of data storage reserved for the VM file systems. This space is reserved from the data storage. The minimum is 512 GB. Oracle recommends 256 GB for each VM.

4. Review the summary, and select Save.
