Create a Key Store
This topic provides the details and procedure to create a Key Store.
Procedure
Perform the following steps in the Console.

On the Key Stores list page, select Create Key Store, and provide the following details.

Key Store: The Key Store name is a user-friendly name that you can use to identify the resource. The name doesn’t need to be unique, because an Oracle Cloud Identifier (OCID) uniquely identifies the resource.

Oracle Key Vault Connection Settings

Connection IP addresses: Enter at least one Oracle Key Vault cluster node IP address. To specify multiple nodes in the same Oracle Key Vault cluster, enter the IP addresses as a comma-separated list (for example,
193.10.20.1,193.10.20.2). -
Administrator user name: Enter the Oracle Key Vault REST administrator user name (for example,
okv_rest_user). -
Administrator password secret: Select the OCI Vault secret that stores the Oracle Key Vault REST administrator password. This secret is used to authenticate with the Oracle Key Vault.
- Select the compartment that contains the vault, and then select the vault.

Advanced Options: Expand to provide additional details.
- Tags: Expand to provide additional details. You can add free-form tags or defined tags to this resource. You must have permission to use the tag namespace for defined tags. For more information about using tags to manage your resources, see Tags. Tags can be applied later or at any time to a resource.

Select Create.
The Key Stores list page is displayed.
