Using the REST API to Monitor Service Performance

Another method of tracking performance of Oracle Cloud services is to use the Oracle Cloud Monitoring API to set alert thresholds for monitoring the account balance.

To use the Oracle Cloud Monitoring API, you must have the following:

  • A paid or a promotional subscription to an Oracle Cloud service

  • Sign-in credentials and identity domain ID to access the API

  • Monitoring_ApiAccess role to access the API

  • cURL application
