New and Changed Features in Free and Paid Oracle Cloud Promotion

Feature Description

New step-by-step sign up flow for free Oracle Cloud Promotion users

A new step-by-step sign up process is introduced for users who want to try the free Oracle Cloud Promotion.

Similarly, the sign up process for users who want to sign up for a paid Cloud Account has also been updated.

New and Changed Features in Free Oracle Cloud Promotion

Feature Description

New Oracle Cloud Console for users signing up for free Oracle Cloud Promotion

Users who sign up for the free Oracle Cloud Promotion from the Oracle Cloud website are now directed to Oracle Cloud Console to manage their Oracle infrastructure cloud services and specific database services.

New and Changed Features in My Services

Feature Description

Upgrade to paid option introduced in Oracle Cloud Console

Users who signed up for the free Oracle Cloud Promotion can now upgrade to a paid account from the new Oracle Cloud Console instead of My Services. The Upgrade to Paid option isn't available in My Services for these users.

View billing and usage costs in Oracle Cloud Console Users of free Oracle Cloud Promotion can view their credit balance and total usage costs from the Billing page in Oracle Cloud Console instead of My Services. The Account Management tile in My Services is hidden for these users. See Manage Your Credit Balances in Getting Started with Oracle Cloud.

New and Changed Features in My Services

Feature Description

Region-level user management links enabled

If a cloud account is extended to multiple regions, then region-specific user management links are displayed in the Users section of the navigation menu.

New Business Administrator role introduced
