New and Changed Features in My Services

Feature Description

Region-level user management links enabled

If a cloud account is extended to multiple regions, then region-specific user management links are displayed in the Users section of the navigation menu.

New Business Administrator role introduced

A new Business Administrator role is introduced in My Services that allows the user to only monitor account usage. See Learn About Cloud Account Roles in Getting Started with Oracle Cloud and Overview of Business Administration Tasks in Managing and Monitoring Oracle Cloud.

New and Changed Features in My Services

Feature Description

Data regions that don’t support Oracle Autonomous Cloud Services hidden

During sign up, users won’t be able to select data regions that don’t support Oracle Autonomous Cloud Services. They are hidden by default.

Also, the Featured Services list in the Create Instance dialog box displays only the autonomous services, if supported. See Sign Up for the Free Oracle Cloud Promotion and Create a Service Instance in Getting Started with Oracle Cloud.

Account updates enabled during upgrade to paid

Users can now update their account details or change their credit card information during the upgrade to paid flow in My Services. See Update Your Account Details in Getting Started with Oracle Cloud.

Provision to enable or disable My Home service consoles display in My Services

Cloud Account Administrators can now specify whether to show or hide service consoles (for users with non-administrative roles) on the My Home dashboard, by selecting the appropriate option in My Services, Account Management page. See Configure My Home Display in Managing and Monitoring Oracle Cloud.

CSI number now available in Quick links pane

Users can get their CSI number from the My Services Help (?) drawer. See Get Your CSI Number in Getting Started with Oracle Cloud.

New Business Administrator role introduced

Feature Description

Billing Metrics page changes

Hourly and daily usage data can now be viewed in the Billing Metrics page by selecting the relevant option from the Show menu. Filtering of usage data by tags is also enabled in the Billing Metrics page. See Viewing Billing Metrics in Managing and Monitoring Oracle Cloud.
