You can update an existing storage volume to increase the capacity dynamically, even when the volume is attached to an instance.

|1. Identify the storage volume that you want to resize.||
In the response, note down the three-part name of the storage volume that you want to resize.
|2. Retrieve details of the storage volume you want to resize.||
In the response, note down the current size of the storage volume.
|3. Increase the size of the storage volume by specifying a size that is larger than the size you have noted down in step 2. Note that you cannot reduce the size of a storage volume after increasing it, so plan carefully.||
