View Summary Logs for Disaster Recovery Plan Executions
View the AI-generated summaries for failed or warning Disaster Recovery (DR) plan execution steps to quickly understand errors and recommended actions.
OCI Full Stack Disaster Recovery now provides a View Summary option for eligible Disaster Recovery plan execution steps. This feature uses OCI Generative AI service to generate a concise, plain-language summary of selected step execution logs, helping you quickly understand failures or warnings during switchovers, failovers, or DR drills.

- Failed ignored
- Succeeded with warning
- Problem: Explains what the step attempted and what caused the failure or warning.
- Solution: Provides suggested investigation steps and corrective actions.
- Reference IDs: Lists key identifiers from the log, such as OCIDs, tenancy name, bucket name, and work request ID.
Note:
This feature is applicable for only for built-in or built-in precheck steps. Currently, user-defined plan group steps are not supported.Before using this feature, configure IAM policies that allow the Full Stack DR dynamic group to access the OCI Generative AI service. See Policies for Generative AI.
The View Summary is available in the OCI public cloud regions only. It is not available in government, sovereign, or dedicated cloud regions. If OCI Generative AI service is not directly available in your tenancy region, Full Stack DR can use cross-region calling when a supported route exists.
Using View Summary triggers an OCI Generative AI service inference request in your tenancy. Standard OCI Generative AI pricing applies. OCI Full Stack DR does not apply additional charges for this feature.
The billing for this feature is according to the pricing model of the OCI Generative AI Service. The OCI Generative AI service is available in the regions listed here.
