Sort Physical Columns Alphabetically

The database table's column order is preserved when you add it to the physical layer. In the physical layer, you can reorder a physical table's columns alphabetically.

The alphabetically reorder is applied to any corresponding alias tables.
  1. On your home page, click Navigator Navigator icon and then click Semantic Models.
  2. In the Semantic Models page, click a semantic model to open it.
  3. Click Physical Layer Create icon.
  4. In the Physical Layer pane, browse for and double-click the table where you want to sort columns.
  5. In the physical table, click the Columns tab.
  6. Click Reorder Columns Alphabetically Reorder Columns Alphabetically icon to change the column sort order.
  7. Click Save.
