Configure All of Your Workbooks to Open in Edit Mode by Default

This task is for workbook authors. All of your workbooks open in Viewer mode by default, but you can change this behavior so that all of your workbooks open in Edit mode by default.

1. On your home page, click your user name or name badge with your initials, then click Profile.

2. Click Advanced, and then click the Open Workbooks as a Viewer toggle.
   • Open Workbooks as a Viewer toggle ON (green circle) - All of your workbooks open in Viewer mode by default.

   • Open Workbooks as a Viewer toggle OFF (white circle) - All of your workbooks open in Edit mode by default.

3. Click Close.
