Configure Settings for Workbook Themes

You can configure the visibility of a workbook theme, and whether users can update a workbook theme. For example, you might want to hide a particular workbook theme from users when they create or update workbooks.

As a content author you must have the Manage Layouts and Themes, and Create and Edit Shared Themes permissions to configure these settings.

You can configure theme settings:
  • Visible - Shows or hides a theme when users create a workbook.
  • Set as default - Displays a theme as the default when users create a workbook.
  • Make Read-write - Makes a theme readable and writable.
  • Make Read-only - Makes a theme read-only.
  1. In the Oracle Analytics Home page, click Navigator Navigator icon used to display the Navigator, and then click Console.
  2. Click Layout and Themes.
  3. Click Themes, and select or deselect Visible.
  4. Right-click a theme and select an option.
