Download System Map Layer JSON Files

You can download a system map layer as a JSON file and then customize it.

You must have the Manage Maps permission to do this.

For example, if a system map layer such as World Cities is missing a city, region, or other location, you can download the JSON file, add the missing location data, and upload the updated file to use as a custom map layer. This enables you to more accurately represent your organization's data and geographic structure.

  1. On your home page, click Navigator Navigator icon used to display the Navigator, and then click Console.
  2. Click Maps, click Data Layers, then click System Map Layers.
  3. For a system map layer, click Options and click Download.
  4. Navigate to a folder where you want to save the system map layer JSON file and click Save.
