Use the Catalog Manager Command Line Interface

You use the Catalog Manager command line interface to perform advanced catalog management. For example, you can create, delete, rename, and view catalog objects.

1. On Windows, from the Start menu, select Oracle Analytics Client Tools, then Catalog Manager CLI.
2. When using the command line, change to the following directory:
   BI_DOMAIN\bitools\bin
3. Run the appropriate script:
   • runcat.cmd (on Windows)
   • runcat.sh (on Linux)
   • For assistance about commands run:

     runcat.cmd - help | runcat.sh -help

4. Enter a command.

   For example, to generate a report that lists the contents of the catalog, enter runcat.sh -cmd report.
