Before You Begin
This tutorial shows you how to upload an image to share with Oracle Analytics workbooks.
Background
In Oracle Analytics, you can add images to workbooks and canvas layout templates. These images can act as a standard background for the workbook, a specific canvas, or a visualization. You can also add your company's logo as an image that appears on every canvas of the workbook. When an image is saved as a shared image, you can reuse it in other workbooks and use it in a workbook layout template.
The size limit for an individual shared image is 10MB. If you encounter an "image is too large" message on upload, lower the compression value. Oracle Analytics compresses uploaded images at 80%. The overall limit for all shared images in cloud storage is 50GB.
Your administrator uses the Console to manage all images uploaded by content authors.
