Before You Begin
This tutorial shows you how to save workbook dashboard filter selections in Oracle Analytics.
Background
When interacting with an Oracle Analytics workbook, you can make filter selections and save those selections for another session as a custom state. Oracle Analytics supports three states. The original state occurs when the author saves the workbook. The last state contains the filter selections that you made in the workbook when you closed the workbook.
You can specify a default state to use for subsequent session. You can save up to 15 custom states in a workbook. The initial default workbook state is the last state in which you closed the workbook. You can change the default state to a saved state or the original state.
