CASDK-0005: Error while setting credentials to map and key

Assume you create an Apache Kafka Adapter connection using the SASL SCRAM over SSL security policy in Oracle Integration. Testing the connection is successful. However, saving the connection fails with the following exception:

CASDK-0005: Error while setting credentials to map oracle.cloud.adapter and key b5d845ae0b1d62c203a14a57f6a53e51b08f3ccf5d7932e014d38c49a640ecd5 
in Credential Store Framework. Cannot store the credentials.

Cause

You uploaded a JKS truststore file on the Connections page during connection configuration. While saving the connection, the details were persisted in the Oracle Vault. However, there were unnecessary certificates in the truststore file, which increased the size to more than the 75 KB limit.

Solution

The limit per secret in the Oracle Vault is 75 KB. Upload a truststore file within this size limit.
