Failed Outbound Oracle Fusion Field Service Adapter Connection Retries Three Times Every 30 Seconds with a 504 Timeout Error

An Oracle Fusion Field Service Adapter connection attempting to invoke an external REST service retries three times approximately every 30 seconds upon receiving a 504 gateway timeout error.

The Oracle Fusion Field Service Adapter is designed to support the following types of retries:

• Three retries for a 504 error (from an external service) for all cases.
• Three retries for a 502 error (from an external service), but only for GET operations.
• Three retries for SSL and adapter-marked retryable exceptions (with 500 milliseconds of sleep between each call).
• Three retries for a 401 error.
