Use AI to Create a Trading Partner Setup
You can use AI to quickly create a trading partner setup (within a project) based on the natural language text you specify in the details page of the trading partner. Using natural language, you can describe the trading partner setup that the AI needs to create. After AI creates the artifacts, you can configure them further as needed.
Note:
- This feature is available only within a project.
- This feature is available only in the following region:
- UK South (London) - LHR
Typically, when creating trading partners manually, you might need to create key configurations such as host identifiers, trading partner identifiers, documents, transport, inbound agreements, and outbound agreements. Manual creation of these configurations might be time consuming. You can now use AI to quickly and automatically create most of these configurations by specifying the details using natural language text. Once AI creates these configurations, you can configure them further as needed. This significantly reduces the number of manual steps that you need to perform when creating trading partners.
To create a trading partner setup using AI, perform the following steps:
- In the navigation pane, click Projects.
- Click the project in which to create the trading partner.
- Click B2B
.
- In the Trading partners section, click Add.
- In the Add trading partner panel, click Create.
- In the Create trading partner panel, enter a name and an optional description. The Identifier field is automatically populated with the name you enter.
- Click Create.
- On the details page, an option is available at the top of the page, where you can specify details about the trading partner setup that the AI needs to create. Describe the trading partner setup that the AI needs to create using natural language text. Ensure that the natural language text you provide includes correct details. Ensure that it is specified in the context of the trading partner profile that has been created to avoid errors or ambiguity. For example:
The trading partner profile sends X12 4010 850, 820, and receives X12 4010 855 and 810 using the AS2 protocol. - Application Partner ID for the trading partner is AI_TP - AS2 Identifier is AI_TP_AS2 - Here are the ISA and GS segments from an X12 850 that was sent to Oracle Integration by the trading partner. Create B2B identifiers using the following sample: ISA*00*00*01*AI_TP*01*MyCompany*241112*1245*U*00401*000000015*0*P~ GS*PO*AI_TP*MyCompany*19960807*1548*000001*X*004010~ - Click Submit
.
- Based on the details you specified, the AI displays a configuration summary listing the artifacts for your review. You can perform one of the following steps:
- Click Accept AI generated configuration
to accept the configuration created by AI.
The artifacts are created and the details page appears, where you can configure the artifacts further as needed.
- Click Reject AI generated configuration
to reject the configuration created by AI.
The configuration created by AI is rejected and the details page appears, where you can modify the natural language text you had specified earlier or specify new details describing the trading partner setup that the AI needs to create.
- Click Accept AI generated configuration
- If you accepted the configuration created by AI, on the details page, review all the artifacts that were created and update them as needed to complete the setup.
Note:
- Only the following EDI documents are supported: X12, EDIFACT, and X12 HIPAA.
- This feature is also available for existing trading partners within a project.
