Instances configured for autoscaling environments are not displayed in Oracle Integration

After you configure the instances for autoscaling environments in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, the environment sometimes do not display in Oracle Integration.

Issue

You configured the instance in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, but the environment still does not appear in Oracle Integration.

What to Do

  1. Open the Oracle Cloud Console navigation menu, click Compute, and then click Instances.
  2. Select your instance and check the cloud-init-output.log file.
    • Linux: /var/log/cloud-init-output.log
    • Windows: C:\Program Files\Cloudbase Solutions\Cloudbase-Init\log\cloud-init-output.log
The log should display any possible errors that could explain why the instance is not appearing in Oracle Integration.
  3. Click Networking, and then click Virtual cloud networks. Select the VCN you created, click Subnets and verify that outbound internet access is allowed in the subnet.
  4. Click Identity & Security. Under Identity, click Policies. Check if all necessary IAM policies are configured as described in Step 2: Create an IAM Policy.
  5. Click Security, under Security Lists, click select the default security list. Confirm that the security lists or NSGs allow required ingress and egress traffic.
