Prerequisites for Creating a Connection

You must satisfy the following prerequisites to create a connection with the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Adapter:

Create a New Package

Create a new package in your Salesforce Marketing Cloud account and obtain the client ID and client secret. See Create and Install Packages.

  • During the registration process, if you select the Web App integration type, enter the redirect URI under Redirect URI in the following format:
    https://OIC_instance_URL/icsapis/agent/oauth/callback
  • During the registration process, make sure you provide the required permission to the component.
  • Copy the client ID and client secret. You'll need to enter those values on the Connections page when you configure security for your Salesforce Marketing Cloud Adapter connection in Oracle Integration. See Configure Connection Security.
