Microsoft SharePoint Adapter Capabilities

The Microsoft SharePoint Adapter enables you to create an integration in Oracle Integration that connects to the Microsoft SharePoint application using Microsoft Graph APIs. You can configure the Microsoft SharePoint Adapter as a trigger or an invoke connection in an integration in Oracle Integration.

The Microsoft SharePoint Adapter provides the following capabilities:

  • For trigger endpoints:

    • Allows you to subscribe to the following events in Microsoft SharePoint:
      • An item is added/updated/deleted in a list
      • A file is uploaded or deleted
    • Allows you to configure a specific site for subscribing to events by specifying the domain name and site name on the Connections page
    • Supports the OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials and Digital Signature security policies
    • Supports integration with the Microsoft SharePoint application using the public internet

  • For invoke endpoints:

    • Allows you to perform data manipulation operations on list items and files available on Microsoft SharePoint
    • Allows you to select the site on which you want to perform data manipulation operations by specifying the domain name and site name on the Connections page
    • Supports the following operations on list items:
      • List Items
      • Get Item
      • Add Item
      • Update Item
      • Delete Item
    • Supports the following operations on files:
      • Upload File (up to 250 MB)
      • Download File (You can select to delete the file once you download it.)
      • Delete File (You can select to delete the file permanently.)
    • Supports the OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials and OAuth 2.0 Authorization Code Credentials security policies
    • Supports integration with publicly accessible resources (direct connectivity over the public internet) and private resources using the connectivity agent
  • Allows you to search for sites during invoke or trigger endpoint configuration when the required site is not available in the site list. You can search by specifying the region and keywords appearing in the site name.
  • Supports adapter configuration for commercial customers, US government environments, or sovereign cloud environments.

  • Supports implementing a secure egress (dedicated NAT gateway) to establish a connection by using a private endpoint. See Configure a Private Endpoint for Your Instance in Provisioning and Administering Oracle Integration 3 and Configure the Endpoint Access Type.
